Social Media Marketing

Consistency is Key to a Strong Social Strategy

Regular posting and sharing non-campaign content that is more social in nature is important to maintain an engaged audience. Need some inspiration? Here is a quick guide to what your weekly posting schedule could look like:

Monday:

  • “Wish You Were Here” postcard – Sunsets, sunrises, gardens, etc.
  • Last-minute availability for the upcoming week/weekend

Tuesday:

  • Travel tips – getting restaurant reservations early, finding parking downtown, etc.

Wednesday:

  • Wanderlust – share info or post for iconic attractions to visit nearby
  • Wellness – highlight any spa/massage or fitness offerings

Thursday:

  • Throwbacks – historic pictures of the inn or interesting area history
  • Weddings & Events – highlight a recent event you hosted

Friday

  • Foodie Friday – Show off breakfast or other dining options, promote your favorite local restaurant
  • Good Vibes- Share a recent positive review

Weekend

  • Try to get pictures or video of your guests enjoying the property (with their permission) and share!

Squam Lake Inn Room Tour

This client has done a nice job of walking through rooms that have been refreshed to give guests a peek at the updates before their professional photos come in.

L’Auberge Video

Magisto videos are a fun way to showcase offerings or target specific audiences. These feel even more organic when we can incorporate some of your own video clips as we did in this example with the sunrise in the mountains.
