Valentine’s Day Weekend is likely sold out (or almost there), but we have lots of fun ideas if you need helping filling in the rest of the month:
Bachelor Package – Play off this popular television series and create a one of kind experience with romantic activities.
Galentine’s Getaway – Create a fun getaway package for the girls! Consider including massage or spa services and wine tasting.
Valentine’s Dinner Menu – A great upsell that you can promote even if you’re already sold out! Create a special romantic dinner menu that can be served in-suite. Consider partnering with a catering company for this.
Romance is in the Cards – Consider promoting gift certificates as the perfect last-minute Valentine’s Day gift.
Looking for something outside the heart-shaped box?
National Love Your Pet Day – Celebrated on February 20th, this is the perfect excuse to create an extra special pet package or special waiving pet fees for the month of February.
February is Cancer Awareness Month – Consider running a promotion that donates a percentage of profit to cancer a fund, and perhaps a discount for cancer survivors or people under treatment. If you have a personal story of overcoming cancer, this could be even more meaningful.
Mardi Gras – Celebrated on February 16th! Festivities probably look different this year. Consider hosting a socially distanced event at the inn just for your guests.
March: Spring is Right Around the Corner!
The First Day of Spring is Saturday, March 20 – a great time to launch a new outdoor activity package! Look at what relationships you can build with local tour operators now.
Brunch Wedding Packages – Perfect for a spring or early summer wedding!
Gardeners Delight – March showers bring April flowers! Is there a famous nursery or botanical garden in the area you could promote?
Spring Break – A lot has changed with the COVID-19 pandemic. You might not have the same targeted demand for Spring Break as before, but people still want to get away. Consider putting together a Spring Break itinerary or using this as a spin for a Work & Play vacation.
